My Cheap Jeep ZJ Build

Ok...

Long story short, sold the WJ, used the money to pick up a gas saver, and another Jeep...

I picked up this ZJ for $2500

(next to my old WJ... miss her)

then this week I added some new (used) wheels and tires

started cutting and hammering Friday.. also started on the bumper and ordered a rim for the spare..
With the new tires I could not turn more than 1/2 turn or they would hit, now lock to lock and lots of room..
anyway, onto the pics

and Today I finished up the bumper

Next up, rear bumper with swing out tire carrier for full sized spare...

So Far, I've got $2950 into it..

Great deal! Looks freakin sweet so far! Makes me miss the ZJ I used to have! I'm surprised the tires aren't hitting the charcoal canister though, I had to relocate mine. Nice work on the bumper!

Good looking ZJ. My GF is getting ready to sell her WJ and steal my ZJ, bc I only got like $600 in it, but I had the 360 and trans and 231 for it so about $1300 haha, but its not lifted or anything yet

Depending on your underhood plans you might consider saving that space and flipping the charcoal canister sideways in its current location.

for some reason that new bumper almost makes the front of you zj look like a wj... It looks really good!
