Just got this today. My kid cannot wait to go hit the trails in "Daddy's Jeep"

This one is the smallest one they offer. It is 10" wide. They go up in one inch increments from there.

I would think he's gonna get uncomfortable in that after a long day?

I know they make small size suspension seats, seen 'em in a few buggies..

Personally, my kid uses a std high back booster sitting on a stock seat. The high back booster has little side wings near the heat, so when he falls asleep on the trail, his head doesn't roll around too much and hit something hard in the cab.

That said, don't get me wrong, I think it's great when parents take their kids wheeling, and REALLY great when they equip them with the proper safety gear.

NC Mog has a good point about the head restraints though, I've seen my friends' kids' zonked out on some terrain you wouldn't think they would be, and you surely don't want their melon flopping all over.

Just find some foam and cut some pieces to add in/under the cushion. If the seat fits him properly it shouldn't be uncomfortable.. also you can find bolt on (padded) helmet wings that might offer some upper support for the trail side cat naps.

10 pts for the bling factor !!

Small Kids can fall asleep anywhere, anytime, in any position.
Yesterday evening we were driving to the store, him in the front pass. seat of the Runner, singing Old MacDonald to pass the time.
He literally zonked out mid-sentence with one leg out at 90 degrees hanging overt he side of the seat and an arm behind his head.
All I heard was "E-I-E-I....zzzzzzz....."

That's pretty sweet! Looks like the little tyke is really excited about it! Glad to see you're taking him with you.

X2, My son is 12 and crashes anywhere. He has been out more than once on the trails with radio,CB, whatever blasting and bouncing all over the place.

I kinda dissagree. I've seen Kids spend hours in the most uncomfortable positions and never complain. They are just glad to be there.
Agreed. My kids go to sleep in what looks like the most uncomfortable positions, and never seem to have any ill effects.

I'd have to have a chiropractor on call if I slept in those same positions.
