my new bronco build .

i started this build the middle of may and finished it in time to go to tellico last weekend with fsb.com
as you can see from the pics , ive been busting ass.
i'd like to thank a few members from this forum for their help.
studnuts: tube work, gubni: selling me the bronco, upnover: propane , cyjcrawler: delivering me the propane from chip,
hd78bronco: welding up some mounts for my ram assist,
doc: helping me strip my 79 for parts and putting it back stock and we had to strip 2 stock fords to get all the stuff i needed to get the 79 up and running in near stock form . we turned lots of wrenches for long hours, zubz: andy hooked me up with psc gear box- psc ram- synthetic winch cable - and a few other parts. s104u: side bars .thanks to all.

SPECS: 302/c4/dana20 , fullwidth one ton axles 4.88 gears with lockers and 35 spline shafts, 15/39.5/16.5 tsl mounted on stazworks double beadlocks with rock rings, psc ram assist and high steer arms all dom tubing, propane, 108" wheelbase, 5.5" cage long travel coils, cage extended radius arms in the front , 4 link with air shocks in the back , warn m15000 winch with amsteel 7/16 synthetic rope, corbeau factory 5 with rci harnesses, hi lift, cb , in dash mounted gauges.
 
good build. all that in 10 weeks. single with no kids right?

remember , i had 90% of the parts off my 79.
i bought the 74 for $1,000.00 and i sold $800.00 worth of parts off of it. i also sold my 79 to doc and i sold several parts off the 79 that i didnt use on the 74 and i hussled lots of axles, tranny's, and t-cases for extra cash.

thanks guys. i smoked the stock worn out tranny at tellico last weekend so no dpg for me this time. im going to rebuild it soon. ive already bought a heavy duty rebuild kit from performance automatic.
 
Good job on the build Mike! If the Bronco works half as good as it looks you'll have a great rig!

Yeah, I think I have some money in that thing. got an Dana44 and some rims for my full width Cherokee build. Saw this thing the week before Telico, it is a beast!!!

Wow Mike! I don't know how I missed this thread. It sure is a far cry from the bronco you had at tellico last spring when I met you. I know you were talking about building something more appropriate for wheeling, but geesh. Nice work!
