It would be the cummins motor with the allison trans and dana 60 rear end.

In a Dodge or Ford or Chevy doesn't make a big diff to me.

But with the baddest engine with the baddest trans then your talking.

lol. yup. Seems this guy likes to start debates (read "arguments")...

My perfect tow rig would be a Lincoln Town Car with a Cummins 5.9, 6spd, and dana 80 rear.

Perfect tow rig? Think bigger. 12+ liter, auto-shift 10 speed trans, engine brake, air ride, wrapped in a nice comfy volvo interior. Oh wait, I just described a Class 6/8 truck..

Yea but for a class 8 nothing rides better than that Volvo. I drove a 770 and the room inside plus the ride and man could that thing turn good.

i drive one of those almost everyday. 24v Cummins mated to a 5spd auto Allison, 22.5 Alcoa wheels, 37ft long/34k lbs. Dang thing will barely do 55. Hows that for a tow rig ahahaha?

That looks more like a 30 footer.... :flipoff2:

Hehe they're pricey new- I believe we pay $350k. We sold the last used one for like $7k after it got so rusty that the frame bent when it was put on the lift.
