How did you do your steering? Looking at one of these axles and trying to figure out the high steer. Slee makes the only kit for $770. More money than I want to spend.

asheboro huh??where at in asheboro, looks like I got some competition haha!Nice yota man!

What are the spec's of the build besides the front axle?
The truck is a 89 V6 3.0(stock) with the 5 speed maual trans. I'm running the marlin crawler mc10 crawl box with 4:7 gears in it, mated to the stock chain drive transfer case, that is clocked 10%. Theses are sitting on a modified trail-gear dual case crossmember. The rear axle is the stock one with 4:10 gears and a spool. The front axle is a 95 model fj80 axle with 4:10 gears and the factory electric locker. It has stock axle shafts in it that I soon want to upgrade to longfields. I'm running a psc full hydro steering kit with a 8" single ended ram. It runs behind the axle, right below the high pinion 3rd member. The driveshafts are made from tractor pto shafts with toyota yokes put on them. I run 2.5" wheel spacers on the rear axle to match it up with the front axle width. MRW
16" custom beadlocks with one inch backspacing hold the 42" pitbull tires.

Where is that place man??Looks like a cool place to wheel can you go down that creek far?

It says your in asheboro so I figured it was close by,how do you like the pitbulls?

re

That place is down in Coleridge. Yeah you can ride a pretty good way down the river. Its right below one of my friends house.

Is it near an old mill in Coleridge by chance?

Ben, you need to ride at Mini-me's house over on old 49, you can ride down his creek for a while. Ask Donald Garner about it.

Sweet ass toyota by the way!

sweet tires to go along with it. Nice to see something different from the typical BFGS , SSwamp and Gyears you see most people run

ride

I ride down at mini's quite a bit. That's where I went to try my truck out for the first time. He's working on getting his jeep going again after breaking it down in coleridge where I was at. He's going to run yota axle's with a dana 300.
