I have been to two of these auctions in Mooresville, NC and I am very impressed. They have everything from seats to master cylinders. Some of the stuff is no use to us, but some of the stuff we all could use when building a buggy or other rig. Some of you already know about this, but I thought I would share my find with others. The next auction is August 30th at 6:00 - there is a listed and other info located at www.gavelauction.com . The merchandise sold is from race teams, or car owners that tried to make the "show" but lost out and are having to liqudate their assets. Just thought I would let everyone know. Yep, make sure to tell Kevin about it as well Sam - what time do you want to leave - we need to be down there no later than 5:30. I would like to even leave around 4:00. Talk to the boss man and see what you can swing.
 
Probably a great place to get some 4-point's cheap!
 
Yep, they had the 5 point Simpson silver edition, or whatever the hell the new ones are - you could walk out of there with them for about $20-30 bucks per seat. Believe me, it worth the ride.

Its hit or miss on deals, some i have gone to you can get some killer deals the last one there was a million people there and very few deals to be had.

your right - the last one was very crowded - the one before that there was only 30 people there - my buddy bought a Billy Hess chassis for $100. Hopefully this auction will not be that crowded.
