Yes. That seems like a reasonable option. Definitely keep the roads safe.I think instead of raising the drinking age, they should just make it illegal to drive drunk.
Its crazy if you believe they wouldn't have enjoyed a beer before thenIt is crazy that I can enlist somebody to serve their country at 17, yet they cant enjoy a beer till 3/4 of the way thru their first enlistment contract.

Drinking age should be no higher than 18. I'd entertain proposals to make it lower than that.

Agree, but the only downfall to this in the US is the lack of good dependable and widespread public transportation.Drinking age should be no higher than 18. I'd entertain proposals to make it lower than that.

Ive worked in several bars as a bouncer. i'm all for making the drinking age 25. As a majority, the under 25 patrons cant handle the responsibility of drinking. How to pace, when to quit and when to call a cab. That being said....the bar and alcohol industry wont let it happen.
I was basing my comment based on the title of this thread.
I'm not convinced changing the legal age would make a difference though. We teach kids about sex in elementary school yet still have high rates of teenage pregnancy.
