NC State Fair

I was there for years and years. I showed both sheep and cattle while growing up. Always did pretty well. I didn't get to show many steers there though, I had usually aready won the Mountain State Fair :)
 
Who is incharge of the tractor pulls at the fair? OTTPA?? NTPA? I hope it is NTPA, I wanna see(and hear) those hopped-up three cylinder Olivers scream down the track. :Rockon:
 
I dont know if im going this year. It seems to get worse and worse every year(people wise). I went last year middle week sometime and I think I was the only white person there and the only person that spoke english. The fried snickers will have to be a deep persuasion to get me there.

EWW!!!! How you guys eat fair food and ride the rides those "certified" fair workers assemble i will NEVER know. I wanna die in a cool way, but not from an undercooked snickers with aids on it :flipoff2: or a ride that has been assembled by people with less than three teeth and even fewer brain cells.

I go to the fair for the music......and to make me feel good about myself :D

So let's see...from your observations.. the rides suck, the food sucks, the people suck... See a trend that carries over to the music? :flipoff2:

I'm just going for the demo derby...
 
Just saw on WRAL about the fair employment... So to be hired there you need to have three or less first degree murders. :D

went to the fair this saturday. drove my CJ too, lol. the tractor pull was fun. i like mug bogs better but the pulls are still cool. i'll agree, those rides make me nervous. i did ride that big drop ride though, that was fun. i think going to the fair is just an experience in and of itself. lol

i was sitting in traffic waiting to park, and i had this ricer behind me. well he revved his engine, so i revved mine a little, he did his again, so i did mine again, he did it one more time, so i let him hear what an open header 360 V8 really sounds like. yea, he didn't rev his 4banger again, lol.
