NC4x4 blocked at NCSU?

I have been unable to access NC4x4 from state.

Works from other places, but says dns server failure from work.

any ideas?

Blocked where I work also, nothing we can do about it.

unless they have blocked it in the past week i have been on nc4x4 in the computer labs at nc state.

My wife works at a community college...sometimes I go out there if she has to work after hours or on a Sunday when nobody else is there. I got her to email their IT and ask for a couple of forums to be unblocked (m715zone.com was one), they did it no problem. Doesn't hurt to ask.

i had the same problem the other day in kilgore. i was sitting in class using ncsu-guest and i got kicked off of nc4x4. i was able to go to other forums (pirate,jeepin, etc) but not here. i've never had a problem elsewhere tho.

I'll try to check it out in some other buildings/computers.

I can go to just about any other site, but nc4x4.com never responds.

Yea those are all fine and dandy for college blocks.

Not a CHANCE IN HELL would I risk my career to get to a website.
Yea, no one usually reads those logs from proxy servers, etc etc.
BUT if they did, it's still easy to see your packets if you have the router/etc.

yea you can go through a proxy server but you will have restrictions as to what you can do/access

State shouldn't be blocking squat. Sounds like a dns config issue, unless the admins there have gone stupid.

i tried it this week from the williams addition and its a no go. (just nc4x4, no proxies)
