So as a refresher Heres who wins, the winner is the NC4x4 man of the year, so post up who you think that is, It can be for great Tech Info, A Great Build, Or just great commentary, or for whatever reason you think. Post the name and why you think they are man of the year. Ill add up the votes At at 8AM Dec. 1st. that way you can have your cash or gears by Christmas.

NC4X4 Man of the year recieves 2 free axle set-ups (Labor) or $125 cold hard cash.

That's a sweet ass deal! I'm going to think about who I should nominate.

I vote for Chip again.

Nope, first rule, it can't be the same person. But thanks!

I nominate John Craven (JC of this board, formerly CYJKrawler)
John is active in trail maintenance at URE, He volunteers his time to some young wheelers getting started, always ready to help with tech when he can. He is recently more involved with SFWD association and the save the Tellico Campaign. Gonna be helping out this coming week( I will let him elaborate when he can about that) HE helped out at the URE cross event last spring, he helped out at the KC4X4 event this fall. He is involved with a group out in Montana that shows people wheeling for the first time. Anytime he is traveling, he is also usually transporting items for someone helping out logistically so a deal is a real deal, when it is delivered. John is the real deal wheeler. IMO a very good choice for MOY!

x2 on JC ... some of the best write ups I've ever read....plus everything Chip mentioned.

this is my first year with the board, after meeting John and the hard work he did for the TOY run this year(clearing some trails for the rockwell rigs) and other tasks he did, i choose JC for my vote.it would be a well deserved award to a great person.

jc john is a great help in our 4x4 community and a good friend. i nominate him as well.

Throw another hat into the ring. How about Dylan W? I have never met him but form what I heard and read he was busy as four monkeys humping a football at the URECross. So my vote goes to Dylan W.

<><Fish

Kinda hard not to vote for JC he is def an awesome guy.

But after Dylan W. putting up with what me and Johnny put him throu today trying to get this next 4x4cross planned, its kinda hard not to vote for him :flipoff2: so yea my vote goes to Dylan :driver:

He's def got the nc4x4/trailriding crew's demographic's best concern first and foremost, I mean besides that he's having to put up with two Drag Racing Mudheads, that has to suck

jc.....always great tech, and great trail reports. Also works his butt of on the trails.

JC

Since Chip can't win again :)

Dylan W has done a lot of work this year that we have benefited from. He's a good choice!

I nominate Turtle Mechanic for his work organizing the Toy Run to benefit the underpriviledged kids of Johnson County TN (2 years and running) and for organizing the upcoming 4x4 race at Mountain City, TN. He is very dedicated to our sport, is a super guy and needs lower gears, bad :)

Dylan W....after meeting him and seeing the work he did at UREcross. I saw him still have time for his wife and daughter at the starting line.
