NC4x4 on Facebook

Thanks, y'all! 80 fans and growing, good to see everybody over there. In case you wonder, I'll probably be doing most of the posting there.
 
lol...im there. but there is only a handful of people i know beyond screen names.

Word of caution, I have had four of my personal friends had their idenity stolen on Facebook, the most recent was two days ago.

yep, you have to be realycarefull w/ FB.

400million + members draws a nice crowd of hackers and other scumbags.
 
Well set your settings correctly and that will not happen. Besides who would put info there that pertains to having you identity stolen?
 
I know a lot of folks use FB, my wife does a LOT! I'm curious as to why NC4x4 needs a FB presence? Someone clue in an old timer.

easier than adding a chat feature to this site maybe?
 
I definitely agree with setting your privacy settings so random people can't see your information. Granted, any time you post on the internet, you're leaving a trail of information...

Mike said it... plus I think if your 'other' friends and family on Facebook see that you 'like' NC4x4 and then see all the pictures and all the fun folks have... it's another way to show the 'general public' what it's about and maybe get more to show up to Ricky's events or the ECORS races or to come over here and join the board. BlueRibbon Coalition has a FB page with 3700 or so fans. ;)

It isn't intended to replace any aspect of this board, just another side of the experience.

I try to get on here daily but with facebook any updates on the facebook page goes right to my phone.

Find out about it on there and come here to talk about it
and having faces to the names is nice (that is if you have the same username on your fae book so everyone knows)

What she said!!!!! FYI It got more out @ our event...Alot of people are on FB...I think it's a great idea for NC4x4...
 
I don't even have a facebook, have heard nothing but bad things about there privacy stuff. Can't join up I guess.
