Need a Painter

Anyone who can recommend a good interior painter to do 1 room near Charlotte/York area.

I am fed up with no call backs after repeated messages and then finally had some clown from "Ronald's Painting" scheduled today. Wife takes off waits home, assured they would be here at 10Am out by 2PM.

After 3 calls I finally get a call back at 12:30 guy says he isnt feeling well and told the owner and owner said they would cover it. What a joke, then when I tried to explain the inconvenience he had caused he told me, "Just find some damn body else to paint your house" and hung up.

WOW professionalism at its best.

It is clowns like this that make me fight for my reputation as a contractor on a daily basis.

Anyone else looking steer clear of them and I appreciate all recommendations.

BTW this is for my son's room, and before everyone start with the paint it yourself routine, I am a PERFECTIONIST when it comes to work esecially on my house. I can not produce results good enough for myself and I hate the work. Hell I dont mind dropping 3-400 on a room but I expect professional results at that price
 
No one knows anyone who paints houses?

my mom paints our rooms...

we had a "professional" come in once. Crappy job, paint was everywhere.

If your a true perfectionist, do it yourself, because professional painters arent gonna give a rats ass about anything except getting done and getting paid
 
Yeah, what ^ said. My girlfriend and I have painted a few rooms, she does excellent work, and Im really good at pointing out her mistakes. I can talk to her about doing it, but I don't know if she wants to do it on someone elses house.
 
IBREAK paints for a living, but he's in Boone, and I dont know if he does work in this area...
