Need a retractable air hose reel.. from where?

Doing some organizing of the garage (mostly a bunch of new shelves, and a small loft over one of the bays), and an air hose reel would really help.

But, there's nowhere on the wall to mount one, it's going to have to hang from a wood beam that's 10' up, so I need a retractable one with 50' of hose.

CRAP those things are pricy!!

Best deal I've seen so far is $90 shipped for one with 3/8" x 50' of rubber hose.

Anyone got a hookup / found a deal / have one to sell?


This is also partially prompted by this: In a moment of inattentiveness(sp), I tossed the ~ 20' coil of air hose on the floor off to the side, not thinking that I had put my motorcycle over there (not its usual spot), and the quick-disconnect smacked on the top of the tank, taking a chip out of the beautiful red paint... :shaking: No one to be pissed at but myself.

Yeah, saw that one.. looked flimsy, and the hose is PVC.. but thanks.
 
Rich, I bought one for my service truck from Northern, that was one of their versions of the COX reels which are very high dollar. I mounted it to the bed sides and it worked perfect and was outside in the elements all of its life.

Same thing that makes a cam lock 5-pt harness cost twice as much as a regular one.
 
A buddy of mine has that $80 HF model and been using it for years w/o problems. And he is very anal about leaks. I've been considering one myself.

in the tool and shop thread, there is always chatter about HF coupons...

For a LOOONg time they had a an old link that just stayed there.
Now I think ther is another back door, but you can get 20% on anything just spend some time there.
