Need a used iPhone

I need a used iPhone for one of my kids. I don’t want to buy a new one or add a plan or any of that so where is the best place to buy a used one? How do I know if it is stolen or not? I figured the most logical place to ask this question was on a four wheeling site of course

Any tips or suggestions appreciated.

Look on eBay. I always buy our phones about a year old, so much cheaper that way. If you go back a few generations they're pretty cheap.

That's a good friggin deal. We got our first one from a doctor in Charlotte. Cost like $35k and he has issues, but they said no returns. He was new though, not a refurb. Not sure how that works.
