Yesterday, a friendly NC-SHP man took notice of the exceptional velocity achieved by my family truckster minivan on a Forsyth County highway. He flagged me down and invited me to the county courthouse to meet his partners in crime. I appreciate his offer, but I generally defer to a third party for proper representation. For several years, I have gone to an old neighborhood acquaintance, and have recently been bounced to the junior associates within the firm. I just found out they no longer handle out of county cases, but he did recommend an old colleague of his who does practice in Forsyth County. So seeing as how I am going to have to start with a new firm, I'll take this opportunity to review any opinions you may have regarding the legal representation available in this county. This will help filter thru the postal solicitations that will undoubtedly clog my mailbox in the upcoming days. Thanks!

If you had asked me about a lawyer that could fix a speeding ticket I could have helped you, but...

Sanders & Combs. They kept points off my liscence when I was going through a rough couple of years. Kirk Sanders handled probably 10 tickets for me in a two-year span. I don't think my insurance even went up during that time.

hands down chuck alexander. former circuit judge

if you dont like him, don tisdale. former DA.

now are both big names in criminal defense.

either one is around $400.00 to handle a traffic case.

I dont know of any good ''mouthpieces'' for you to hire, but I did like reading your post, sir.

almost sounds like he could just do it himself.

heres a helpful hint
velocity equals speed times 1.466 or V=Sx1.466
This formula should help you out next time.
no, no, no..... S=V/1.466
"S" is the variable you need to keep your eye on.

Edit: wait a sec. that aint right either. speed, as in mph, is a unit of velocity. velocity should equal speed no matter what number it is. Is that right? dang, now I'm

where's Rat??

um...thanks Tom, if I ever need to convert MPH to feet per second, your formula will defintley help. mudder pretty much nailed it. Speed is the magnitude of velocity; technically velocity includes a direction. My alleged speed was 75MPH (110 ft/sec :flipoff2:), but my velocity was 75MPH Northwest.
Thanks for the help, I'll be in touch with those lawsharks.

Guys, this isn't rocket surgery.
Velocity = speed in a particular direction. just like Tony said.

wow that's an impressive "rough spot".

Here is an idea on how to save money and minimize having to pay the that random highway use tax,

SLOW DOWN!

Why were you in such a hurry to get home? Got a cake in the oven you forgot about?

That wasn't even all of them. The first and last were "handled" by a "friend" in the "system." *wink-wink* None for about 8 years, though. The secret is...drive inconspicuous cars. Or a Samurai.

I got two speeding tickets in a Sami back in the day.
:flipoff2:

Only way I had a chance of not getting run over was to get as much speed as possible on the downhill, then I'd be down to like 40 by the top of the hill. I guess I could have regeared or something.

I've been ticketed in at least 10 different vehicles...V8 muscle cars, pickup trucks, econo jap crap POS'es with slipping clutches. The white Dodge Caravan with church preschool magnet is clearly most inconspicuous of the bunch. Anyone got a line on the paint Wonder Woman used for her jet?

I'm a big fan of Jon Barrow. Helped me out quite a few times and free to go and talk to him. He's located in Kernersville. #'s 996-5900. Chris.
