Alright, I could not resist!:D

Introducing our wheelbase extending Spring Perch. We're going to call it our 2+ Perch!

This is a combination of very simple ideas (best kind!) that just makes sense. We start with our standard Ubolt Plates, make a perch that looks wrong, and add some wings....and you get....

1"-3" more wheelbase without changing your Spring or Shackle hangers! Or, change them also and get lots more wheelbase. This is a great step for Sammi's, Land Cruisers, Jeeps, pretty much anything needing just a bit more...

The kit comes with 8 - 4" x 5/8" grade 8 bolts that are threaded into the wings which are made from 1/2" plate so you have no fear of thread retention. Test them on your springs and then cut them to length. I would run about 90FT/lbs on them a dab of Loctite and call it good.

These are $110 a pair and come with everything you see here!

How does this affect spring wrap? Seems it would increase wrap and put a lot of force on the welds since the mounting would be behind the axle so to speak! I'm interested though...more info

It seems to make wrap less of an issue. By positioning the axle slightly behind the strongest part of the spring the spring helps fight the wrap. The Wings are keyed so the welds are reinforcing the keyways and the wings are 1/2" thick welded top & bottom.

have you THOROUGHLY tested these on the trail ?????? thanks.

They have been on an '83 Toyota with 63" Chevies with 2 leaves removed for about 2 months. It is a DD and a trail truck. He has been on theRubicon twice and Fordyce one time so far. It dosen't have a ton of HP but it does have set of doubled transfer cases.

He was getting pretty bad wrap with the doubler...Now about 1/2 as much he claims but he still needs a wrap bar. This will not cure wrap but as a mounting point is fine.
