I know there are other threads about this, but I'll make another one. I'm doing a 44 swap for my TJ, and I bought the wrong axle. I got a 79 F150 HP 44 before I found out about the cast wedges. Before I cut my losses and look for another axle, how hard/expensive is it going to be to retube it. I know basically what to do, I just don't ave a press or an axle jig to do it. Anyone know of a local shop, Charlotte area, that could help me with this?

Why not use modified ford style radius arms? Your sig line says you are already running clayton longarms, which are a radius arm anyway.

Say you sell the current axle for $125 and buy an earlier 44 for $250, your out $125. You'll spend much more than that to re-tube the current axle. Sell it!

Sig is incorrect, lol. I'm running Clayton longarms in the rear and a custom 3-Link up front.
