OK, so in the process of getting all my bits together and doing work on my jeep, I noticed my front drive shaft's CV joint is basically toast.
I was hoping it was a ujoint, but the ujoints feel fine, but the middle part is what actually feels like crap.
(Initial symptoms were squeaking/"angry sparrows sound" starting at ~10-15mph and then sort of going away/getting drowned out at ~35)

Since I've already gone over my budget, (well once I finish with the rear drive shaft, etc) What is my cheapest option to fix this?
I'm also in a bit of a time crunch, since I need to put the SYE in the back, and then measure so I can get a rear drive shaft made.
My current rear DS is a tad to long from when i got rid of the 35 and went to a 44.

:(

Stupid jeeps.

So summary:
Need the quickest/cheapest way to repair/replace/fix my CV joint on the front drive shaft of a 98 TJ with a manual transmission.

Nevermind, found the part numbers I needed.
Going to try and just clean/regrease it first if that doesn't work, it will at least postpone the rebuild long enough for me to have a rear driveshaft. :)
