I find it strange that they are asking for my bank password info. Is this normal or am I at a strange site? I will copy and paste the page here let me know if this is what you had to do also.

Option 1: Instantly confirm your online bank account (takes about 1 minute)

Available if you have online banking access to your first citizens bank account. You provide your online banking credentials, and we will verify your account ownership usually within a minute.

Option 2: Confirm your bank account by validating deposit amounts (takes 2-3 business days)

If you do not have or remember your online banking login, select this option. We will deposit two small amounts of less than a dollar each. To prove you own this account, please return and tell us these deposit amounts in 2-3 business days.

Did you start at Paypal.com or follow a link?

I use Paypal a lot, and don't ever remenber it asking for a password/code. Just the account number. My $.02 worth!

Yeah, you'll have to put in your bank info so they can draw funds from it when you buy things.

As long as you started your session at paypal.com, you're good.

They have ALOT of my info..

Yo,
As a FORMER victim of PAYPAL, I no longer need their "banking" services and no customer service support. Maybe the law suit has straightened them out? In the past, you could not call them with a issue! Freaking Jerks!

They have been "operating a bank" without following the federal requirements of banking. They used to hold your funds indefinitely at will and use whatever excuse they formulated to do so. That was part of the law suit.

The one time someone from Paypal called me she was a rude, snotty little Witch.

Never use a Paypal link from an email. Tons of scams fishing for accounts to rob. As suggested, link directly.

Best of luck if you use their service. In this day and age of scams, giving those folks reign of your bank account is just asking for trouble in my opinion. There's lots of success stories but there are also problems too. Search the internet for Paypal problems reported by others.

My $0.02

They ask for the info then deposit a few cents into your account. You then reply to them and let them know that it went in there.

They have changed a lot over the last few years. The biggest change is they actually have customer service people now. 24 hours a day you can talk to a real person and they actually help you. Of the 20-30 deposits made to me since last week, none of them are pending, they all went straight through.

I have heard of people having problems, but it works great for me.

You have the option of doing bank password info (of which I didn't and wouldn't) or you can have them make two small deposits as mentioned above.

Works good for me too.

I refuse to use PayPal anymore, to many storys about them wrongly siding with fradulant ebay buyers and 'giving' them their money back 'from you' with out even asking..

I just send Postal Money order or if they don't accept anything BUT PayPal I buy it else where.. Most normal PayPal retailers can still us your normal credit card in a transaction..

I sold a set of narrowed 60s a couple years ago on ebay.
The buyer then filed a complaint that they werent what I claimed. (I had 8-10 pics and the description was perfect).
It said these were left at my shop by a friend I have no idea of the history but the spin easily, the welding on the tubes looks professional, and the grease inside is clean, no abnormal wear patterns.

Paypal locked my account and voided 3 purchase transactions I had in process, despite having enough in the account without the $1800 to cover them. Needless to say I was made to look like an ass, and got blasted in feedback for backing out on deals (all 3 were paypal only and they locked my account for over 60 days)...eventually through an email "hearing" (that I wasnt notified about or present at) they determined I misrepresented the items (never would tell me how or why) and the buyer had agreed to have them scrapped and the transaction voided

Im sure he scrapped them....

I also still carry around a name and address in my pocket in case I ever end up near cleveland ohio...

The axles were given to me I didnt even mind being scammed outta them (I sold them no reserve) but I paid $300 in freight to give a scum ball my property:fuck-you:

So yeah...I hate paypal and scum ball buyers
