I traded my built XJ for a motorcycle to ride to work when I changed jobs, now that I have been completely hosed and now that I'm not working 2nd shift and alot of weekends, I want to build another 4X4.
Ideas.
1. Build the '99 GMC Suburban I have, 285/75-16 Dayton Timberline M/T, no locker for the front that I can find, maybe solid axle swap, alot of weight and weak front end.
2. GMC Safari AWD, Dana 30/44 front, Ford 8.8 rear, 255/85-16 BFG M/T, selectable lockers, Later an Atlas II or 4 speed T/C, alot of work, would be rare.
3. Late model Bronco, small lift, 285/75-16 Dayton Timberline M/T, selectable lockers, some around already.
4. 4 door Tracker/Sidekick, SOA Toyota axles, spool in rear, lunchbox in front, 9.50x34 Swampers, for trail rig, one in Concord already.
5. Wait and hope Jeep puts either the Hemi or diesel in the JK.
6. Go back in time and undo the mess my life has become.
