Hi - I am new to the forum and look forward to joining the community here at NC4x4!

I have a 2000 Wrangler TJ 4cyl (came to me bone stock) and have been enjoying some wrenching on it trying to get it ready for light wheeling and weekend riding.

The wheels/tires have been upgraded to 31" JK ones (using 5.5 wheel adapters) and now am looking to install a lift kit.

BDS 2" springs and Rancho RS5000x shocks are in hand. Looking for a shop in Charlotte to get this installed at a reasonable price. I do have a floor jack and air compressor but limited knowledge on installing suspension systems.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks Bob

What part of Charlotte are you in?

My parents live on Carmel Rd. Are you in a hurry, I can probably help you with it, its crazy easy.

I appreciate that! Not in a hurry, just evaluating options on how to install. May spend some time reading up on it , watching youtube learning more.

I'll keep you posted!

@72Rockcruiser certainly knows what hes doing and he's right it is stupid easy.

I suspect you will have a harder time finding a reputable shop to install a lift kit you bring them. Just too much potential for things to go wrong.

The Jeep is originally from Ohio and has a fair amount of rust..

I started soaking the nuts/bolts in liquid wrench last night until the Kroil arrives next week

Have fun with those rear upper shock bolts then. They will more than likely break and suck ass to drill out.
