Alright guys/gals, Ive got 4.5" springs with 2" spacers right now on short adj. arms. My springs are starting to sag so Im thinking of replacing them and going long arms. My question is this: Should I replace the springs with more 4.5" springs and keep the spacers, or should I get like an XJ 7.5" from RE which I think would net me around 6.5"-7" in the front and use a ZJ front lift coil for the rear so that I get rid of the spacers all together? Also if I do option number two with the XJ coils, what size front zj lift coil will net me about the same in the rear? I know the stock springs are supposed to give 2.5"-3", so would this hold true with lift springs? Example: front 4.5" ZJ coils would net about 7"-7.5" in the rear?? Thanks for any advice

i've got xj 6.5" in the front, and XJ 4.5" in the rear, It gets me about 6" and sits level.
This is on a 4.0 ZJ w/front winch.

If you're going to the trouble of getting springs, get the right ones from the start. I got mine used from a friend, and from a deal on Mallcrawlin, otherwise I'd of just bought a new set.

And if you have the $$ always go longarm, the ride on and offroad is amazing compared to shortarms. and at that height short arms SUCK!

thanks man, yeah when I was building it a year ago, I pieced everything together, sucks being on a budget, I got the springs used as well, I think they are rustys brand, they are supposed to be 4.5" springs and Ive got 2" spacers on top of that, im on all 8 adj. arms its stiff and bouncy but no worse than my 89 xj with 3" rough country lift
