I have been approached by a friend who just got a Jeep XJ. she wants a lift. I have a ZJ, so coming from coils all around to coils up front and leafs out back is a little different. I have a RE 3.5"SF kit for mine. she just wants something that gives it the offroading "stance" and mild capabilities. such as a few mud holes and some hills. Nothing like major. I have told her about rough country's 3" with add-a-leafs. I have a XJ too. Did some research when i was buying a lift for that. I have herd that add-a-leafs are a waste of money because they tend to sag after a while. to upgrade to the full packs its almost double the $$$... I suggested a RE 2" BB and just buy 2" blocks and sell the AAL's. need some opinions, details, or even recommendations.
sorry it was so long!

You can find random lift parts all over the forums, I think I have a pair of coils that would give about 3-4 inches of lift sitting around somewhere. Find someone with rear leafs or a 3" rear shackle and be done with it for cheap.

Shackles on rear and spacers up front, my opinion she wouldnt need anything more than that...

Add a leafs are worth it. Need to pairs of hands to install but I did it on my jeep and looks and functions fine. Plus saved me about 200 greenbacks
