My club, Rock Corps 4x4, is having our annual Toy Run next Saturday at our club property in Marion.
So tomorrow myself and @thebrotherinlaw are going down to do a check over of the property to make sure it is ready for the event. As such, we are looking for folks to come and give us a hand.
What we will be doing is:
-Putting tires on all of the trails to make sure nothing is blocking them
-Making and putting up some new trail/ informative signs
-Starting to clear a new trail if we still have time in the day
What you need to bring:
- A moderately capable 4x4 with at least 31s
-Work gloves and appropriate work wear
-A chainsaw wouldn't hurt either
What you get:
-A hearty thank you from me and my club
-A head start towards potential membership should you wish to do so
-Some pride in knowing you are doing something to help a local club benefit McDowell County DSS
I would say around 11am is when we would begin and plan to work until mid-late afternoon.
