Need some help from the HVAC guys...

We have a Carrier Humidifier on our HVAC setup and I believe the motor is fried (have 24VAC at the motor when it *should* be turning). Motor is a cheap looking 24VAC gearmotor marked HC01AZ024. I grabbed the number off it thinking I'd be looking at <$25 replacement part...

WTF! Most of the crackheads selling these "Carrier" motors online are between $150-$275!

Does anyone know of/have a reasonably priced alternative?

Have you tried Repair Clinic.com , if they don't have they usually are helpful in finding it, really good on house appliance parts and repair.
