way to much money for that year truck..

is it worth it?? that is up to the buyer and how bad the buyer wants it..

but I have a 92 CTD and I woul dnot pay 10K for a 93

if it was a 5 speed and 4x4 I would go look but probably not buy..

NO WAY!
I looked at a 97 4wd CTD last week that they wanted 9800 for.

Also the 93 is a 5digit odometer IIRC, so that 89k may well be 189k.

Id keep looking, you can get much more truck for 10k or keep more money and get the same truck.

Nope, they're 6 digit.

Dang near a 2 tone clone of my truck (minus 70k miles & a little more (ab)"use")... but I hardily agree that way too much cabbage for that truck.

OTOH, it will NOT hurt anything to go drive it around (be VERY careful though! CTDs are like Spidy's black suit... once it's ON, getting it off is hard! :D ), show some interest, and then slip them an offer more in line with your wallet...

If it was 4wd that would not be bad $ for the mileage. And dave is right, the odometer is 6 digit. You can find a higher mileage truck for alot cheaper, but just as good.

I appreciate the replies each of you has provided. Having only bought two vehicles, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have much experience purchasing vehicles.

I based my opinion that the truck was overpriced based on Kelly Blue Book values. Based on your past experiences, are the blue book values accurate?

I just bought my 1st in Nov.06...1994 w/194,000/5speed,CTD,duallie,great shape for $5,000.Runs awesome! Too much IMO,good luck,Chuck
