So last week on the way to great grannys funeral i was hit in my GC-L.. and found out yesterday that they decided to total it.. plus they got my driving a 07 mustang ( Hate it )


i found a 2000 GC-L with a i6 im assuming. since theres no v8 badge on back. it has 145xxx miles on it and its in really good shape besides a couple little spots on the out side. kicker is someone stole the cat off it. last time i talked to her i though she said she would take 5gs for it the way it was.. It has almost new mich. tires on it. and some kind of front brake upgrade. havnt asked much about it yet.

Whats your guys opinion price wise?.. should i ask a cheaper price or is that price good?..

I would say that sounds about right. Might as well try 4500 and see if she takes it.

If it's been well maintained and continues to be, it's got another 100K left in it.

Of course there are always exceptions but the 4.0L Jeep engine has proven to be very durable and dependable, very often going over 200K miles without any problems. Just my experience and .02.

I have 3 inline 6s: 2000 TJ with 125K, 1996 ZJ with 177K, and a 2002 WJ with 146K miles. They all are still running strong and I expect them to for a long time. They are good engines.

Sold a 2000 WJ with 160k on it. needed Tires but everything else was good. Unloaded it for 3k
