neutal safety switch question?

Anyone know how to by-pass the neutral saftety switch on a 1990 cherokee. I just need to by-pass it long enough to get it to my house to work on it!

put ign to 'run' - use a screwdriver and jump the starter solonoid

oh yea, if your doing it by yourself, make sure its in park or neutral with the wheels chalked.

I don't remember details but when my son's 94 xj neutral switch went out we unplugged it's connection under the hood and jumpered it with a couple of paperclips. Wish I could give you more details but it wasn't too hard to figure out.

Find the relay and remove it and jumper the contacts. Don't know where it is or what contacts though.
