So im lookin at sellin my s10 sometime in the NEAR future and gettin a WJ Grand.
Im definitly gettin the v8.
Any opinions good or whatnot?
Thanks guys.:wheel:

my friend is selling his wj on 37's.... limited, v8, leather, etc..... you can see it parked in front of cape fear 4x4....

haha
yeah aint lookin to do anything to what i get
think imma get outta 4 wheelin for a while and start buyin firearms like its goin outta style.

Why the V8? have you driven one with an 1-6? I love my 4.0 Liter.
I have driven the I-6 jeeps before, but I like the extra power and tow capacity of the 8's.
no more SAS on the s10?
My buddys gonna sell me his 92 that he has for $200. But the only question is if i wanna build a motor for it and take time to build it now.

Go for the V8. The wife has the I-6 on her 2002 WJ and I think the gas mileage is about the same. Heck, the V8 may be better. If you get one, here is a great website for technical info on WJs: http://www.wjjeeps.com/index.htm
yeah i seen that site the other nite while lookin on the intraweb.
I think the v8 gets the same mileage and stuff. plus the v-8 is about the same price as the 6.

Just bought the wife 2003 Grand Cherokee limited, V8 and all the good stuff on it. I have a 99 TJ with 4.0 and she is getting better mileage around town than I am. The grand is definitely the cushiest ride we've ever had. Just hope it is as reliable as the 4.0 has been.

Yeah Im lookin for a lil more people capacity than just me and another person in my truck. Aint so worried bout mileage that much but im sure itll be better then my current ride.
As for reliability, well see what happens. Supposed to be a very tight motor. As little as I beat on my ride, and as constant I am on oil changes(every 2500 or so), I think shed be good.
