My jeepster has 4.3 tbi motor, chip, K&N, bored .030 over at total rebuild. At the Dixie Run this year I tore off my muffler and the newfound exit pipe seemed to make a big difference in power, of which I want/need more of.
The exhaust now consists of stock mani's, 2" tube to the crossover at the muffler, and 2.25" to behind the tire. The muffler on it now is a FM70 series.
I have bought a set of Sanderson CV95 http://www.sandersonheaders.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_23_38_46&products_id=70 headers for it that I am getting ready to install and head to the muffler shop to bend up new tube.
I want this thing to breathe much better than before. Is there a formula to create the best exhaust sizing keeping in mind the size of the motor? Also I want a free flowing muffler.
Your input would be appreciated.
