Rockon: My name is Eric. I'm from Winston Salem. A buddy told me about NC 4x4. I've been snooping around for a few days and love it. Hope to see some of you out and about. I plan to ditch the sammy to fund my buggy. Wish me luck.

Current Ride- '88 sammy, 33"x 12.50's, rocky-road JP Eater, CJ springs, JAZ fuel cell, Weber Carb, RCI highbacks, 5 point Harnesses.

New Build-(30% complete) Toyota Buggy, 22R, stock 4.10's, welded front and rear, Dual Cases w/ marlin adapter, chromoly Longfields, 4 Link front and rear, 39.5" IROCS, Beadlocks, full PCS Steering, Fox air shocks and many other hopes.

Hey man. Good to see another person around the Winston area. Im down in Walnut Cove/ Belews Creek so if you ever need any help working on stuff im not far away just give me a shout.

Whats wrong with welding the front? I ran the front welded in my old toyota for years and has never broke. This was many runs a UNF and most of them on 40" grooved ground hawgs and stock birfields. I know its not the ideal setup but it worked great for me.

And now you're using a locker, right? There's a reason. Turning is good. Don't confuse "turning" the tires and the vehicle actually turning... Hasn't this welded vs. real locker thing been beat to death?

If you must weld the axle please install turning brakes

Nope still welded. Yeah i know this has been beaten to death i was just saying it worked great for me espcially since it cost $0 dollars.

Sorry for the 'jack, Edo...
