I just moved to the area from near Binghamton, NY. We moved to the Pine Level area in August. I am just now getting a chance to get the garage up and running. The jeep needs a little work before it can get back out on the trails but I hope to get it going some time before the end of the year.

Anyway the base vehicle is a 93 YJ. I have done all the work to the Jeep. It has a cage but i need to tie it to the frame and get the seats attached to it. The motor is a 1993 5.2L and auto overdrive out of a 1993 ZJ. That goes to a D D Machine NP 231 doubler to a flipped D300. I made the front and rear drive shafts out of various parts. The front axle is a D60 out of a 1978 Ford. It is welded with 4.56 gears stock shafts and Spicer u-joints and hubs. It has ram assist and a bigger box. The rear is an Eaton that has 4.56 gears and is also welded. It also has 3/4 ton disk brakes. The master and booster are from a 3/4 ton GM. The springs are XJs all around. The front has a leaf added. The tires are 39.5 Iroks. The wheels are H1s with GLO wheel stiffeners and centers. The winch is a 8274 in a custom mount.

Cool deal man. Glad to have ya in the NC area. You should try and come out to DPG at the next open ride. Check the upcoming events sections. Good fun and great testing grounds.

Welcome. Where exactly are you from around Binghamton? I grew up in Endwell. Nice rig by the way.

Welcome! Thats a pretty stout YJ. How is the 231/300 working out for ya? Thinking of doing that eventually to mine.
