Welcome, mommafox! Feel free to post up a new thread asking your questions about places in NC to relocate. It will probably get more attention and responses that way. There's a lot of folks from the Greensboro and Winston-Salem area and a fair amount from the Charlotte and Raleigh areas... all have their pros/cons and everyone has their opinions. You'll find we're a generally friendly bunch though.
