Hello everybody! Just dropping a post here to say hello & introduce myself. I just moved to South Carolina from Maryland and have been seeking a new 4x4 club... it seems S.C. is lacking, so I joined up here :) I drive a 1993 ford pickup, lifted 9" total, running 38.5" boggers... she hasn't been wheeled in a while due to rapid closure of legit offroad areas back in MD.

she needs some work, hopefully i'll be able to start putting in some time once i get settled in the new place.. the truck has been totaled 3 times already, but it keeps coming back! therefore, only a few panels on the thing match (old & new paint) and it looks a little silly..i'd like to throw a D60 in up front, do a little more body work, and finally get rid of that nasty gearbox leak....haha


here's big red, before going to a wedding the weekend i put the body lift and new tires/rims on...

What parts of MD? What's this about trail closure?
I'm getting ready to move to the Aberdeen/Havre de grace/Rising Sun area (working at the APG)

Thats probally the original color, you know fords, they fade.

i might be a chick but I am also Lauren, When do I read before I comment? I mearly skim the text

If this was VerticialExcursions I would delete his stament about the body covers so I would be right... just don't tell steve

Keep in mind that "underage" here does not necessarily mean "below legal".
And a grad sctudent at USC - probably not an idiot either.

You should've joined this site way earlier, we could've kept you from making the "mistake" of buying a Ford. :flipoff2:

So are you really under 21? Your profile says you're a USC grad student....if you graduated college at 20 or under than you're way too smart for the guys on this site!

Not a knock on her, but as I have to remind the "real world educated" folks (no college degree) regarding the large (75 of 105 employees) installment of pinhead PhD's here...
