I haven't seen it on any forums except our's(which is down at the moment due to a hacker) so far but I thought I'd throw it out there. I went last Saturday and the place has huge potential. Every type of terrain you can imagine and difficulty that will eventually rival or surpass Tellico. Freshly wheeled trails and heavy rain the last 2 days is sure to make it better:D We already had breakage and body damage on Saturday. I think the more people wheel it the better and harder it will get. It was well worth the trip(although my u-joint and 1/4 think different).

I can go ahead and tell you those directions are close but not completely accurate. About 5-6 miles in on exit 9 the road will fork at an old store with cow skulls on the roof. Take the right fork, it's not clearly marked on the signs as Trax Rd. Then down about another 5-7 miles on the right you'll see the signs and the house that sits at the front of the property.

that place looks pretty sweet... hopefully i'll be able to have my junk finished so i can hit the trails this year

Is this a place that will be open all year?

Not sure yet. I'm assuming so since the property was bought specifically for this park.

Keep in mind what I said about the directions. At that fork it's abaout 5-7 miles down on the right. You never see a sign for Trax Rd except a little further down. Not sure where Mapquest got that from.

They started mapping it this week.... and for you hardcore guys there a trail being made now called Shipwreck(I've seen part of it and you'll see why it gets the name). It will NOT be on the map, is triple black rated, and will be made for well built rigs only.

I am planning on checking this out on Sat 13 May around 10 am. If anyone is interested in meeting up let me know.

BTW, I recognize that Rubi from my area, I live in Elgin about 10 min from West Wateree Off Road.:) Nice looking rig.

Cheers

Vince

If I didn't have to work I'd go Saturday myself. Since I couldn't get Memorial Day off for Tellico I'm headed up to Gulches the 27th and 28th.
