New Process gear in Syracuse NY closing its doors

I am from up north near that area. I was talking to my dad today and he was telling me that the company is going to close it doors. The union struck again and screwed everything up. They told there employees that they would have to take a pay cut to stay open. The suck ass union stepped in and said hell no. The company were going to cut there pay down to 16 dollars an hour. The union said hell no people cant live off of 16 dollars an hour. After a lot of talk they never came to an agreement so the company said fine were are going to close the doors at the end of the month. Not really sure what that means for us fourwheelers I just wanted to put that out there. Once again the union pretty much said :flipoff2: to the employees because they want more money for there pocket by demanding higher wages for there workers that they take.
 
The Unions had thier place back in the day, but now they are sucking the life blood out of companies.

they will most likely reopen with out the union
 
file chapter 13....voids the union contracts, start over without the union.
 
Ill work my ass off for 16 an hour....move that place to nc.

don't know what you mean but... I did post up in the jobs section last year. We have a few decent jobs available just depends on where you live and what you're into.
 
So, essentially the union demanded more $$$ throughout the years for employees, bleeding the employer till they couldn't stand it anymore. The employer wants to cut pay to keep the doors open? The union says no, so the employer closes the door? Nice union work. If I were the employees I'd raise hell at the union for not keeping the best interest of the employees in mind, like keeping jobs. I'd rather take a pay cut than loose the job all together.

One more reason unions suck ass
