Here's my new acquisition: '78 F-150 Ranger XLT swb w/ 400/C6/205, spooled 9", etc.
Winter beater/mud/SMALL rock toy.
Flat black coming soon!!
Maybe a flat bed too....
 
Anyone know of a decent (i.e. not rusted out...dented OK) short or step side bed?

Nice score on a classic Ford. The '78 - '79 trucks look good plus they were the last two years of the SFA 1/2 ton Fords.

That would look good with a flat/tube bed, full size tool box and spare mount.

Ditto on the flat bed and tube. Thats what I was going to do with mine untill I realized what a piece of trash it was.
