I loved my 08 Tundra. It was fast, comfortable, and towed my rig better than a diesel.

The negatives were the mileage (10ish towing), and the staggering monthly payment. I sold it for payoff plus just enough to buy a 93 Suburban for towing.

Negatives were the TBI 350, 230k miles, the TBI 350, gas mileage, and mostly the TBI 350. It was paid for which was awesome, but towing up Fancy Gap in the slow lane at 30 MPH with the hazards on was unacceptable.

Time for a diesel I decided. No Cummins automatics, and manual trannies were too pricey for my budget. After months of reading and looking at several trashed 7.3's, I started looking for an unmolested 6.0 Powerstroke. Finally found a clean 06 with low miles.

First to go were the damn 20's. I traded some kid even for his stockers;

Next was an Edge Evolution. No tuning, just using it for instrumentation. I won't turn anything up until the head studs are upgraded. Straight pipe added on Thursday. That's it for mods in the 2 weeks that I've had it.
