Ok guys the nitto mud grapplers have bout came to the end of there life. I have had them for 3 years and put 25000 street miles on them and they need to be replaced. I am wanting something in the mt or at realm that won’t hold rocks ( I hate chips) and that will last pretty good. All I use the truck for is daily driving and maybe a little play on the weekends. Need to be available in 33x12.50x17> thinking maybe another set of nittos, dick cepek rough countrys or fun countrys, or mickey Thompson mtzs, any other suggestions welcome.
thanks for the help guys

i like the terras over the bfg ats...bfg ats have a cult following but look like shit after geting miles on them and are over priced..

If i need a AT tire i go nitto terra grappler or mickey atz
If i need a MT tire i go nitto trail grapler...Best mt tire out there in its price range by far. ANd very quiet for what it is.

Nitto Terra Grapplers!!!
i know lots of people that have them and put a ton of miles on them. they still look good, go ok off road and last forever.

i think they look semi agressive for an A/T tire

you will get more miles out of the bfgs, the terras get about 30 on bigger trucks. Also look into discount tires tire warranty gettin the certs is defiantly worth it.

Also the trail grapplers will last about as long as your mud grapplers 25 or less. good lookin tire but it doesnt wear to well

Agree, also a fan of the BFG a/ts, great tread life and decent function.

Used to run them on my DD, think I had 55k on the set and sold them will decent tread still.

55k? That's pretty impressive.

Ive heard of them getting even better, I was running them on a XJ with 6 inches of lift, 33x12.50x15's, mostly just street driving, occasional wheeling, mostly for the purpose of pulling out friends.

I have BFG long trail T/A's on my DD (F150) and I'm loving the way they ride. Only got about 5k on them right now but I hope to see high mileage with them. I had a set of BFG M/Ts on my first trail rig and didn't like them. They were too hard and didn't grab rocks like I wanted.

I have a set of Nitto Dune Grapplers that need to be replaced now but I got 40k on em on a 3/4 ton dodge and I pull alot of trailers the only downside is they arent that good in the mud or slick stuff I am gonna get a set of the Trail Grapplers next. We used to run bfg's on our ton trucks (6 duallys) and they never stayed balanced and we never got any kinda mileage worth the price, we will never own another set of bfg's we switched to maxxis tires for the duallys and they lasted twice as long for half the price.

only thing about the terra's is they grab alot of rocks like the bfg a/t's just ask any of my friends that got em.
