Hello, well since hubby posted I guess I should too. Im Marianne his wife. I'll tell ya the story of how I became a Jeep Lover. Well first off, Tony's first Jeep was a big red piece of junk YJ, I thought it was the ugliest thing I have ever seen, it had a homemade roll cage, no carpet, and the panels on the door were missing, it was just plain ugly. He forked over so much money into that thing. Well back then he was in the Navy and we were living in NY, I hated it there so much and knew we were going to be stationed in Virginia in 6 months, so we bought a house in Virginia and me and the kids moved there, while he stayed in NY. While he was there, he bought a navy 97 TJ. He came to visit us in Virginia, and he brought the Jeep. I decided to take it for a drive, since it was nice looking, it had carpet, and all the panels and stuff. Well I fell instantly in Love it. I convinced him to leave it with me and he could drive my car back to NY. While he was gone I got the Jeep liscensed and Titled in Virgina and I got personalized plates that said HerJP. LOL. He wasnt very happy about that, because he really wanted a TJ. Well I really loved my Jeep, and the kids did too, especially when the top was off. But I really wanted a black Jeep with black interior, my blue one has Tan interior which is super ugly in my opinion. So we went to a car dealer a few weeks ago and we found, a 97 TJ in Black, it had tan interior and a Tan top. We decided to buy it, and we replaced the Carpet with black carpet, and we put the tan carpet in now his Blue TJ ;P, the carpet in the new Jeep was in much better shape, and we used that car restore spray stuff, not sure what it is called, and made the tan of the interior Black. We also bought a new black top, and put the Tan one on the blue Jeep, since it was fairly new and in much better shape then the other one. He just put a 3 1/2" lift and 33" tires on it last weekend, and sidesteps, so that I can get in. My Jeep is so sweet, I just love it, it is my dream Jeep. Well now that I have wrote a book, sorry about that. This looks like a great place, and everyone seems pretty cool. Looking forward to meeting ya'll
