Hey all I'm new to the area, and also to this forum bored but I just wanted to say hello and let you know if you have any question about CTD,PSD or other diesel engines shoot them my way if you want. Reason for that being is I am a Cummins Certified Mech./certified class8 mech, you can find me at Alpha Four Wheel Drive around lunch time if you need to see me in the flesh and blood. Also before I moved here I worked for a four wheel drive shop which some of our trucks were featured at SEMA and Texas Heatwave to name a few. So I'm also very fluent in that market also. But anyway its always good to reach out and make new connections and friends. Hope to find some here.

Thanks,
Jason

Can't have too many diesel gurus on this site! Welcome.

Welcome to NC.

My employer is looking for diesel techs. Wanta work on 6.0s in Fords? :D

I know quite a bit about custom fab and modification of 4x4's maybe let me in on what your trying to do and I'll see if I can provide you with the information your looking for.

Thanks

Thank you for the offer, I am currently employed and as far as 6.0's are conserned I am a little bothered by the first step of working them being, remove cab from chassis.
Thanks
Must be a Ford thing as the used car manager where I work at asked me to replace a trans in a Lincoln Navigator and the first step remove body from frame...I said I'll stick to Chryslers/Jeeps and Dodge trucks.

A 6.0 or 6.4 won't come out any other way. :shaking:

The 08 models have bolts that go in from the bottom so there is minimum interference to the inside if the vehicle.

Finally it's about time Ford conformed and did it like the rest of em. Now doing a body lift won't be a PITA like it used to. Besides I heard through the grape vine that Navistar is having problems meeting the new epa standards, something to the tune of exhaust gas coming out like a blowtorch.

:wtf: The guy that desinged that ought to have his a$$hole removed with a spoon!
