I just moved to Wilmington about a month ago but i've been in NC for the past 5 months and I was wondering what laws that people who have modified jeeps face? Whats this deal with the stickers? And how much is it to get tags and what not?
I'm from Middle Tennessee and I know we don't have these sticker things (Those stickers are annoying), we just pay $10 for inspection that takes like 2 min's, $85 for Tags, and thats it, some counties there you don't have to even have inspections and tags cost as low as $25, is it the same here?:confused::confused::confused:
 
We do not use inspection stickers anymore from what I have heard. Regarding lifted Jeeps/trucks the police are not very serious about it if there are any laws about bumper height, fender flares, etc.

not serious no, but put one in a bad mood or very strict (or you being a a**hole) and they will find a reason
 
no more stickers for us either. check the new rules, inspections are now tied into license plates.
