Hello folks I'm new around here. I certainly look forward to some enjoyable and informative chat.

I'm building my 4th jeep, a 2006 Rubicon. I'll be installing the Full Traction 6" long arm in a few weeks with 35's. The one thing I really don't want to do myself is install a set of 4.88's. Might any of you good folks know of a trustworthy diff guy near the Wilmington area? However, I'd be willing to travel pretty much the entire state of NC to get a good job done. Lord knows I could use a nice little road trip.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum!

Don't know of anybody in the Wilmington area, but you could hit up Andy at Carolina Rock Shop in Charlotte for gear stuff. He's on this forum also.

Watt's Offroad on the Raleigh area does good work..

I don't think Kevin is doing any new jobs these days, too busy with his own stuff IIRC.

Thanks to the moderator for refining my thread title. And also thanks for all the quick replies. I believe I have already found the solution thanks to this forum. I'll be contacting Andy since he seems to be well regarded far and wide. I've always done my own work, mostly because it's always been superficial stuff like lifts and armor and such. So I've never needed much help. Mods that call for tuly skilled hands like diff gears I would rather not attempt. I've never been a member of a club and always been kind of a loner when it came to wheelin but this sure seems like a great place to hang out.
Thanks guys.

Big Wheel Offroad in jacksonville, about an hour from you does it all as well. Don't use Jacksvonville Van and 4x4. I think you have cape fear offroad or something like that there local. There's a guy named Erik that has a big YJ down there that can give some insight as well. He lives there in Wilmingtin and frequents the board.

Give Down East Offroad a call.....Speak to Robbie and tell him Scott Smith told ya to call.

I think they give some type of warranty on install.
