Here's my new 4x4, and its actually the first jeep i've ever owned. I work on a ton of jeeps (there's about 10 out front now) but don't really feel the urge to own one.

But i came across this 1977 wagoneer with the 360, 400, dana 300 for cheap money and bought it and drove it home

First thing first was to cut it up and start the bumper, winch mount and light bar. I spent about 4 hrs today doing a little fabricating on it and heres where i'm at

Next up is rebuild transmission ( no 3rd) hydroboost brakes, and chop the back with a flatbed (think Chevy Avalanche)

But for now its back to customers rides.

very nice. not a jeep guy either but i really like the big jeeps.

I love old FSJ's. Not sure on the light bar, but to each his own.

look at that...i helped...looks good...can't wait until you can start wheeling with us...this is james by the way

Thats because they didn't put them in there. It has a different tailshaft, and a dana 300, i promise

???????????????????????????????????????????????

Your saying from the factory?

Replaced the output shaft on my T400 with a 32 spline from a 2WD chevy and trimmed 1/4" off. Added an adapter from Advanced and my Atlas 4.3 bolts up. I imagine they did the same or similar for bolting up the 300.

Makes me miss my old Wagon.

Nice Wag!! Good to see another FSJ running a d300. Dont forget to twin-stick it!!:driver:
As you can see, I LOVE to chop tops. My first was a waggy all the way to the windshield, then my current Chero for the fastback look.

Looks good like that. Much cleaner than most that are cut straight down.

How are you going to handle the rear windows? Looks like you could redo the frame & go with plexiglass cut to fit.

wheres your shop located
