I have never owned a superwinch, but I have a regular wheelin buddy that just replaced his with a Warn. Every time he had to use that SW, it would shit the bed. It was slow, seriously lacked power, and was constantly hitting the duty cycle and cutting off. It's not really fair to make a generalization about them based on the performance of one unit...but I can confidently say I will never put one on a vehicle that might actually see winch usage.
Having said that, history suggests that the neXtJeep may spend it's entire life in a cushy heated/cooled shop. So #runwhatyoubrung
