Still haven’t done anything with the axles. Ordered sliders the week after the not-NC4x4 and they still haven’t showed up (they did say 6-8 week lead time). I did start wiring up the winch a month ago, and the cover was hanging on by the control wires and I bumped it and it fell and ripped them loose. 
Finally conquered that project today and was pleased to see that the winch actually works. 
So now it has a working winch for the first time ever 
Next on the list is new tires, as the 2002 dated MTRs are finally started to show a little cracking at the base of the tread blocks. Gonna go with the Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70r16 variety. The set I had on my Ram 1500 was great on road, but had a really open tread pattern that cleared out much better than other all terrains I’d had.
