Sam Bradford going no. 1 not surprising at all. Tebow didn't cry or thank Jesus in his post selection interview which was shocking. Detroit taking Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best in the first round is one of the best moves of the draft so far. They get a solid, fast back to take pressure off of Stafford and have a new enforcer for a defense that lacked power last year.

Anyone surprised at some of the picks?
Anyone have one of their teams players go in the first round?
Anyone else freaking tired of hearing the analysts talk about Jimmy Clausen?

Im a huge GT fan so no suprise BUT

you will here a lot from Derrick morgan and Thomas..Both are very solid players at DE and WR.

i didnt see barry @ 5

Kinda surprised Tebow ended up taking 1st round while Clauson (SP) slipped so far back. Didnt expect Tim to take a pick that high. I kinda like pick though. Tebow, no matter how much you hate him, off the field (and on IMO) is an absolutely stand up guy. Im not in the whole Tebow is GOD field, but really, all the charity/missionary work he does is tops, props to that guy, and congrats on the pick, he deserved it.

Spiller is a Bill....my son asked for a Buffalo jersey....as a life long Cowboys fan that amuses me somehow...

Gotta wonder if St Louis would have know it was an option to have Suh AND McCoy/Claussen if their pick would have changed.

I thought I saw a lot of average talent go in some high dollar slots.

I think Detroit had a pretty sweet round, but we all know they do the least with the most. They just can't seem to get their big talent to produce.

I'm shocked at Tebow going in the first. He's a great guy and determined, but that doesn't translate to production and talent. Not to mention, he hasn't taken a snap since January, when he was a 4th rounder, and some how he's a 1st rounder now? Somebody bought into the media hype.

I think Spiller will be the most productive out of the first round, but due to his running style, will have a fairly short career.

I was glad to see a couple of my buddies go in the first round this year. I practiced every day and every snap against Dan Williams (26th overall) for 3 years...so I would like to take credit for his success...haah.

Spoken like someone who has played the game at the collegiate level. Haha.

Couldn't agree more about Spiller. The kid has some wicked talent and is just down right fast. Any team that lets him get to the corner is going to be hoping they can run him down.

Panthers get Jimmy Clausen!!!
Awesome pick IMO, the guy is much better than I think most people realize.

YES! And now we can stop hearing about him. He has been overhyped by the media coming up to the draft. What sucks is Matt Moore turned the Panthers around last year and is now going to get overshadowed by another lackluster QB.

I would have taken Colt McCoy over Clausen any day due to the caliber of offense he ran during his career at Texas. He just knows how to win and is more familiar with running an NFL style offense. He was tagged as an injury liabilty since the bowl game and has suffered because of this, but look at the number one pick?

Toby Gerhart going to Minnesota was an awesome pick. Minnesota now has the ability to run multiple backs out of the I-formation as Gerhart can fill spots as a Fullback or a Tailback and it will take a good amount of pressure and attention off of Peterson. A dangerous combination because they will have more of a true 2 back presence like the Panthers. He also has good hands and will fill the need for a back that can catch and run out of the backfield. Peterson can do this, but the option of another quality back will help keep him healthy later into the season.

cj wilson goes to packers

im glad the panthers finally drafted a good QB and very glad that Armanti Edwards from App. State got picked up by the Panthers. I cant wait to see the panthers play this year now. No more Jake Delhommo...wooohooo!!!
