saw it on ESPN, we have lost a great guy for the sport of drag racing. Man, this sucks.

It really does suck, he was a great driver. Shame for his family too. I have raced, at E-town several times in the 1980's. The wall he hit at the end of the track, must be a recent edition. Probably to keep cars out of the lake. I think running into the lake may have been the one thing that would have saved him. At 300mph, maybe not.
