and to add some basic manual tranny tech... If you start with removing the front, bearing retainer and any rear retainers or bearing clips. The main shaft should almost be ready to lift/slide out...

And a general tip on the idler shaft... especially with the seperate needles.. get a wood dowel the size of the shaft, ~5/8" ish.. make it just shorter just enough to hold the needles in the gear.. Drop your junk back in and use the real shaft to push the temp/wood one out (usually forward)

Thats actually a hell of a tip, makes a ton of sense,
I will try that in the future
