NV4500 Rebuild

Anybody around New Bern (or within an hour or two) want to rebuild an NV4500 or know of a reputable shop that can do it for a decent price? The biggest problem is the synchros are going and the ones on 3rd were gone when I bought the transmission. The previous owner might not have used the correct oil, I have, but they're still on the way out.

Not to say I can't do it myself, I just don't want to

It's impossible, you cannot rebuild them. Just to be kind, I will even trade my sm465/205 combo for the nv4500/205, then try my best to get scrap price out of yours. Might as well just give me that 6bt as well, it's probably trash, I'll throw in my 350 in return.


No really, I'm just in for information as well, my dad has a 96 Cummins with the nv4500, 3rd gear synchros are out on it as well.

Pretty sure it was a futile attempt to steal my drivetrain Like I said, I can, but if I can find somebody to do it for a decent price then I'll pay them to do it.
